Using the feed
The feed shows one piece at a time. Swipe up for the next piece, swipe left or right to see its other colours, and pinch to look closer. Tap the photo to open the item, where you'll find sizes, the retailer's page, and comments.
Filters and sizes
Tap the sliders icon at the top of the feed. Filter by department, category, what you'd wear it for, and price. Sizes at the top of that sheet are remembered between sessions, so you only set them once.
Saving and outfits
Tap the heart to save a piece in the colour you're looking at. Saved pieces live in the Saved tab, where you can also build an outfit from an outerwear piece, a top, a bottom and shoes, then view it full screen or send it to a friend.
Price drops and restocks
Save something and Closet messages you in the Chat tab when its price falls or it comes back in stock in your colour. Turn each type on or off in Settings › Notifications, including whether they also reach your lock screen.
Buying something
Closet doesn't sell anything. Tapping through to a piece takes you to the retailer's own website, where the purchase, payment, shipping and returns are handled by them.
Reporting a comment or blocking someone
Every comment has a menu with Report, and you can block a person from the same place. Reported comments are reviewed and hidden ones stay hidden for you. Nobody you block can message you or comment where you'll see it.
Deleting your account
Open Settings › Delete account. This removes your account, your saved pieces, your outfits and your messages, and cannot be undone. If you can't reach the app, email us and we'll do it for you.
Something's wrong
- Photos won't load — check your connection, then close and reopen the app. Closet keeps the next stretch of your feed on your phone, so a brief drop shouldn't stop you.
- A price looks wrong — prices come from the retailer and can change before we see it. The retailer's own page is always the truth.
- Notifications aren't arriving — check Settings › Notifications in Closet, then Closet's entry in your iPhone's Settings app.
- Can't sign in — use the same method you signed up with (Apple, Google or email). For email, use "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen.
